A LUCKY SIESTA – UNIQUE MULTILINGUAL COMEDY IS BACK IN MADRID

After last year's successful run, this unique multilingual comedy is back in Madrid this November for a limited number of days. A Lucky Siesta is played in 4 languages at the same time (English, español, français, italiano) but there's no need to speak or know all of them to follow the story and understand. Teatro Multilingue is the one and only company creating multilingual shows - we've been to London, Bristol, Rome, Milano, Madrid, France, Luxembourg, Greece, Ireland and Sweden.

What is it? A Lucky Siesta tells the story of 4 improbable roommates sharing an apartment in the centre of Madrid: Luna, a fashion designer and owner of the apartment; Mattia, Luna's boyfriend, a comics artist; Marsha, an English teacher/stand-up comedian; and Arianne, recently transferred to the city with an international organization. One day they play one ticket in the national lottery and hit the jackpot, but after a night of revelry, the next morning the ticket is nowhere to be found... where is it? Who has it? Meanwhile, the pressure mounts as some agency is looking to buy the apartment to turn it into a profitable AirBnB. This sets off a multilingual trip across the country, from Madrid dirección al norte, to cross the Pyrenees into France...
