Nikon Madrid Exhibition Celebrates 50 Years Of Pink Press

They may not be the most popular people nor appear in anyone top 10 of professionals but the world’s photographers who make up the Paparazzi have certainly made an impression on our times.

Spanish photographers have been a leading force in the genre indeed with groundbreaking magazines such as Hola! the Spanish footprint was bound to have been a big one.

Last week more than 300 people attended the premiere of Nikon House Madrid´s latest exhibition –  ‘Paparazzi’.

The exhbition which features work by some of the most important Spanish photographers of the genre including Queca Campillo, Antonio Catalán, Miguel Córdoba, Antonio Cuenca, Carlos Picasso, Pep Bosch, Andrea Savini & José Ignacio Viseras.

Between them they have been behind the lens of the some of the most important images of the rich and famous over the last half century.

Their work covers a veritable voyeurs delight from Lady Di to Claudia Schiffer and a raft of Spanish celebs including Lola Flores and Isabel Pantoja as well as the more recent gossip surrounding one of Spain´s richest women, Isabel Preysler and Peruvian author Mario Vargas Llosa.

Between them they have been responsible for some of the most seen images of the world´s most famous over the last 50 years.
