Poker enthusiasts in Spain have plenty to look forward to, with Noche de Poker returning for its seventh season. The new installment will see over €100,000 in prizes being distributed among players and bring more surprises in the form of a mystery guest every week.
Noche de Poker has attracted a large following in its earlier seasons as the popularity of poker in the country increases. Fans of the game aren’t using the web just to watch tournaments but also to play the game. More online casinos are now available to players with the best of them ranked in this Techopedia poker sites list.
As they prepare for facing other players online, Spaniards will be able to watch Noche de Poker’s new season, with the first episode airing on October 12th at 8 p.m. on Twitch and YouTube.
The show will continue with its current format of Sit & Go, which has proven to be highly popular among the audience in the country.
Like the previous ones, the new season will air weekly and consist of eight episodes. Poker enthusiasts can qualify online and earn a seat in the Sit & Go. Each episode will have guaranteed prizes for all players as well as mystery bounties.
The winner of each episode will take home €1,500 and whatever they earn in the mystery bounty.
In addition, they will get a seat in the season’s grand final on December 14th. There, they’ll compete with other episode winners for €8,000 and bounty rewards. The winner will also receive an invitation to the Casino Gran Vía tournament that will take place between January 22nd and January 29th.
The show will be hosted by Álvaro Aspas “Darkored” and Esteban Pascual “Estiwinho” who’ll ensure fans of the game have a good time every week. The new season will also feature celebrity guests.
Out of eight players in each episode, six will get their seats by competing in a €10 Satellite which will take place every Sunday. Another seat will be drawn from a €5 password-protected tournament which is exclusive for exclusive EducaPoker students. The final spot will be taken by a mystery guest in each episode.
Noche de Poker season six winner Andypsx took home €8,000 and €4,545 in T€ money. If you want to see who’ll succeed him as the champion of season seven, tune in every Saturday between October 12 to November 30 at 8 p.m. on Twitch or YouTube.
As mentioned earlier, it’s no surprise the earlier seasons of the show have proven to be a success with poker and gambling in general gaining more and more popularity in Spain. According to the gambling regulator DGOJ, the country sees a 10.79% year on year increase in gross gaming revenue.
With the popularity of the game increasing, we can expect to see more shows like Noche de Poker to follow, especially due to the number of viewers poker attracts on streaming platforms like Twitch.
