Saved By The Tail As Bull Tries To Enter House
This is the moment a bull corners a festivalgoer in a doorway and gores him before a young man pulls it by the tail and gets it to stop.
The images were filmed in Arcos, in the southern Spanish province of Cadiz on Sunday, 14th April.
The footage begins with the victim’s feet disappearing into the doorway with the bull in hot pursuit during the Toro del Aleluya bullrunning event.
It then reportedly begins to gore its victim as the person filming screams and other people are heard shouting at it in a bid to distract it.
But their cries have little effect, and eventually, a young man manages to pull the bull away by its tail as the footage ends.
According to the Mayor of Arcos de la Frontera, Miguel Rodriguez, the victim was quickly transferred to a field hospital that had been set up for the event.
The victim was reportedly treated at the scene and allowed to go home.
The unnamed young man who pulled its tail has been praised for his quick thinking, and he is credited with preventing a tragedy from taking place.
