Spain Suspends UK Incoming Flights

The Spanish government has announced the suspension of flights arriving from the United Kingdom from tomorow Tuesday 22nd December, apart from those carrying passengers who either Spanish nationals or are foreigners who have official residency in Spain.

The announcement came in response to the new coronavirus mutant strain which has been identified by UK Health authorities.

Over the weekend the Spanish government had resisted banning incoming flights  until further clarification from the European Union for a coordinated response.
