Botanic Nights Kicks Off Madrid´s Summer Season

One of Madrid´s summer highlights is back as the 7th annual Madrid Botanical Nights which returns from tomorow, June 7 to July 30, at the Alfonso XIII Royal Botanical Gardens at the Complutense University of Madrid.

A series of concerts for summer evenings and nights in which a selection of national and international artists will perform to present their latest works and hits live in a unique ( and beautiful) garden setting.

This year brings some 45 performances by artists such as Bob Dylan, Placebo, Nile Rodgers, Natalia Lafourcade, The Lumineers, LP and Zaz, among many others.

Between June and July the natural space of the Botanical Garden of the Complutense University serves as a stage for the multifaceted festival in which generations and styles will be mixed (jazz, Latin, flamenco, rock and pop), making eclecticism its presentation card and becoming an essential musical event to enjoy Madrid once the sun goes down.

And not only musical, but also of enjoying the fresh air and relaxed garden environment to listen to some of your favourite artists for an unforgettable experience.

Open from 7 in the evening till late…

After last year’s sixth edition, which brought together more than 135,000 people, the 2023 program includes 45 concerts featuring legendary artists such as Bob Dylan, who visits the festival on June 7 and 8 as part of his new world tour presenting his thirty-ninth studio album entitled Rough and Rowdy Ways. Nile Rodgers and CHIC, Chris Isaak, Djavan or Rubén Blades will also be present, as well as others presenting their captivating sounds of soul, folk and African rhythms such as Joss Stone, Roberta Sà or Salïf Keita.

There will also be essential pop rock names such as Placebo, The Lumineers, LP, Damien Rice and Zaz, as well as the artistic mestizaje and jazz of Carlos Rivera, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Tito Nieves and Avishai Cohen. As for the Spanish-speaking world, artists such as Natalia Lafourcade, Luz Casal, Andrés Calamaro, M-Clan, Iván Ferreiro, El Cigala, Fito Páez and Niña Pastori, among others, will be present.

The seventh edition has implemented a series of improvements that, together with the green areas for disconnection, the Mercado del Encanto stalls and the services offered, make Noches del Botánico one of the most experiential and sustainable events on the national scene.
