Madrid Fashion Weeks Kicks Off Autumn Feria Season

Tomorow Wednesday 13th September sees Madrid once more take centre stage in the world of fashion for the 78th Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Her catwalks come to life to view the most sought-after creations by established and promising cutting edge fashion designers in the world who descend on the capital to dhow off their latest creations.

The show which runs from 13 to 17 September, shows the latest trends for the spring-summer season 2024 (Spring Summer 24), featuring international designers such as Mans, Claro Couture, Custo Barcelona and Duarte.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid takes the pulse of the latest fashion tendencies. It is a meeting point for creators, press and fans of this art, in which the major tendencies that will set the style of the forthcoming season will be reviewed.

MBFW will give way to its 78th edition in which leading creators and brands will participate in a show that once more highlights the great creative moment of Spanish fashion.

Sustainability will continue to be the key driver for Mercedes-Benz at this year’s edition and it is back with its iconic stand in the Cibelespace.

Among the big names expected this week are Teresa Helbig; the firm Mans created by the Jaime Álvarez from Seville, which is back at MBFWMadrid after debuting on the 2020 catwalk; Claro Couture also from Seville, by the designer Fernando Claro, and renewed with his daughter Beatriz, which is immersed in a process of international expansion that began in Miami; the brand from Catalonia, Custo Barcelona, which has been presenting its collections every season on international catwalks such as New York Fashion Week since 1997; and Duarte, created in 2016 by Carlos Duarte, where tailoring is one of its strong points, with clients in Canada, China and Germany, which stands out for its innovation and avant-garde techniques.
