Madrid Nights – La Noche De Los Libros Tonight

The capital will be marking International Book Day with the latest Madrid book festival La Noche de los Libros today.

More than 100 book shops, stalls, libraries and cultural centres will be celebrating the world of books with a programme of talks, readings, round tables, theatre and a special tribute to the Spanish writer Benito Pérez Galdós.

Benito Pérez Galdós was a nineteenth and early twentieth century realist novelist who is widely considered to be the one of the leading figures of Spanish literature and many consider him the equal of Miguel de Cervantes in stature.
