Narcos Freely Dropping Hash On Spanish Beaches
This is the moment hashish is unloaded in broad daylight on a Spanish beach while bathers look on in astonishment.
The incident happened near the Trafalgar Lighthouse in Barbate, a town in the province of Cadiz in southern Spain, on Saturday, 30th August.
Footage filmed by beachgoers shows a small recreational boat just metres from the shore as two young men throw bales of hashish into the water before swimming them to land.
Another young man, wearing a helmet, waits on the beach. He collects the bundles and loads them onto a motorised vehicle similar to a quad bike before speeding away along the sand.
Dozens of people are visible on the beach as the events unfold.
Reports said traffickers unloaded three bundles from the boat before leaving.
The Unified Association of Civil Guards (AUGC) said incidents like this are becoming more common regardless of time of day or crowds of people present.
The group has called for more material resources and more police officers to confront what it described as an unsustainable situation.
No details have yet been given on the total quantity of drugs involved or on any arrests.
