Dogs Hit The Snow Slopes Of Madrid

This is the viral moment an excited dog pulls a sledge up a small hill and rides it down the icy slope, casting a look back over its shoulder at its owner while clearly exhilarated by the snowy fun on offer.

The video was filmed in Madrid on 9th January after the region was battered by Storm Filomena.

The footage was shared on Twitter by veterinarian Gaby where it has gone viral with 3 million views.

The clip was shared with the message: “So you think you’ve seen everything.”

The hilarious scene shows an excited black dog dragging a plastic sledge up a small hill by his mouth.

Once at the top, the dog jumps on and casts a look back at its filming owner as the pooch slides down the hill.

Netizen ‘Rededue’ commented: “I love you little dog that plays alone.”

Twitter user ‘Soyfelipemunos’ wrote: “Everyday these kinds of acts make you love animals even more.”

Storm Filomena has caused chaos in Madrid, covering the city in snow and causing the closures of roads, schools, and other establishments, as well as disrupting service at the international Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport.

The State Meteorological Agency issued a red alert for extreme risk in the region due to low temperatures that reached -11 degrees Celsius.

They also confirmed that this is the heaviest snowfall to hit the capital since 1971.
