Horrified Owner Finds Beloved Pet Dog’s Severed Head On Doorstep
A horrified woman who was arriving home from work found her beloved pet dog’s bloodied severed head in front of her front door.
The incident took place in Tegueste, on the Spanish island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands off West Africa, on Wednesday, 26th of March.
The little dog, named Boli, had been completely decapitated, with a graphic photograph showing the poor pooch’s severed head on the doorstep.
The woman filed a complaint with the police, accusing her landlord of breaking into her home, kidnapping her dog and decapitating it.
The animal shelter Adoptame4huellitas, which had previously taken Boli in before his adoption, expressed its outrage.
They said that the alleged perpetrator was the dog owner’s landlord, who, they claim, “made their lives miserable.”
Boli’s heartbroken owner said: “It went beyond any imaginable limit to get to this point.”

Cristo Gil, a well-known animal rights activist, spoke out on social media, saying that it is one of the most shocking situations he has ever seen, adding: “Imagine coming home and seeing your dog’s head on the doorstep and not finding the body. I am speechless.”
Gil said that the family decided to make the images go viral to draw attention to what was happening to animals on the islands.
He said: “What’s being done to the animals on these islands is outrageous; I have no words to describe it.”
The Tegueste City Council issued a statement strongly condemning the incident and saying that it will investigate.
Reports said that the suspect who killed the dog, who has not been named, had already been the subject of previous complaints concerning animal abuse.
