Madrid Imam Arrested For ISIS Terrorist Activities
The Spanish National Police have arrested a madrasa-teacher Imam in Madrid for suspected ISIS activities.
It is believed that the Imam had aided a suspected ISIS terrorist returning from Syria to settle in Spain and who was arrested in December 2018 in an operation with the Spanish Intelligence services.
The arrest was made in Getafe to the south of Madrid as part of a continuing operation to monitor suspected terrorist related activities for the organisation, recruitment and indoctrination of third parties in Jihadist doctrine.
The investigators have confirmed that the suspect, had also spreading Takfiri ideology, which includes the accusation of being an apostite to other Muslims as part of a continuous recruitment and indoctrination campaign in the capital and through social networks.
