Spanish Royal Family Attend Covid Victims Mass

The Spanish Royal Family led by King Felipe VI his wife Queen Letizia and their two daughters Leonor, Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Sofía attended a mass at the Almudena Cathedral yesterday in commemoration of the 28,388 fatalities caused by the Coronavirus pandemic in Spain.

The royal party were received by government ministers including the deputy prime minitister Carmen Calvo and the President of the Madrid Community Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

The mass was presided over by the Bishop of Madrid,  Carlos Osoro.
