Madrid´s vibrant Irish community is coming together again this year for the annual St. Patrick’s Family Day Party, which is being held at the Electrocor Football Club, in Las Rozas on Saturday March 16th between 11.30am-3pm

The Hibernian get-together has firmly established in the Irish expat calendar, organised by the Spanish Irish Business Network and the Madrid Harps GAA and promises to be a every bit as good as in years gone by with a full morning of enjoyment for all ages, featuring a diverse range of activities and entertainment.

Maria Reid, President of the SIBN said: “We are thrilled to invite the community to join us for a memorable St. Patrick’s Day celebration.”

“With the collaboration of Electrocor Football Club and The Madrid Harps GAA, we’ve curated an event that offers something for everyone, from sports enthusiasts to music lovers and families looking for a day of fun and togetherness.”

Entry is €5 for adults (which includes a free drink!) and kids are free.

Attendees can look forward to:

Gaelic Sports Demonstrations and Competitions: Experience dynamic games of hurling, with demonstrations and friendly competitions suitable for the entire family.
Live Irish Music: Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere with traditional Irish music performances including U2 tribute kings, Sundaycoversunday that will have you tapping your feet and dancing along.
Food Trucks and Ice Cream Van: Indulge in delicious culinary delights from a variety of food trucks offering an array of mouthwatering options. And don’t forget to treat yourself to some refreshing ice cream from the ice cream van. Feel free to bring your own picnic too !
Face Painting and Arts & Crafts: for the little ones
Yoga with Californian Julie, find a friend and have some fun with yoga in pairs!
