The Madrid Autumn Festival Returns

The 38th Madrid Autumn Festival is returning this year with the best of international theatre, dance and stage performances from the 12th to 29th November.

The Festival showcases more than 50 stage performances at 22 venues throughout the region including Teatros del Canal, Teatro de La Abadía, the Matadero, Conde Duque, Reina Sofía Museum, La Casa Encendida, Real Coliseo Carlos III de San Lorenzo at El Escorial and Corral de Comedias in Alcalá de Henares.

The programme, which has been compiled by  artistic director, Alberto Conejero, includes theatre, contemporary dance, experimental music, living arts, immersive theatre, transmedia drama,  film and poetry. There will be a total of 37 shows, three transmedia drama creations, 21 world premières and 7 premières in Spain,

The programme includes artists from nine different countries including Spain, Mexico, Belgium, Argentina, Greece, UK, Uruguay, France and Poland.
