Madrid´s Latest Nightclub Opens Its Doors
Madrid is already well known for its vibrant nightlife – indeed it regularly tops every poll for going out among European capitals.
Its myriad of traditonal taverns, locals bars,nightclubs & “afterhours” attract eager party-goers from all over Spain as well.
Every year, new places open that try to make a name for themselves in the bustling Spanish capital. One of the newest and most sensational additions is Mística at situated near the Puerta del Sol.
The club is hidden in the basement of the recently opened 5 star Madrid Edition Hotel on Plaza de Celenque a stone´s throw from Arenal and the bustling Puerta Del Sol. According to rave reviews by Spanish media, the club which had been only open to hotel until guests and vip events is now open to the general public.
It aims to provide a premium clubbing experience at the top end of Madrid’s nightlife.
The Madrid nightclub is distinguished by its New York style. The creator of the Edition brand is Ian Schrager, the founder of the legendary Studio 54 nightclub in New York. Mística combines modern luxury with the raw energy of a New York club from the 70s.
Mística extends over two floors. On the first floor, you’ll find the dance floor, with a state-of-the-art sound system, immersive lighting, and visual projections. The second floor is the VIP lounge, where the waiter comes to your table, with an exclusive range of cocktails. The nightclub also has two bars where you can enjoy special drinks.
Musically, Mística offers a wide range of electronic music, played by regular DJs and international artists with a potent mix of disco, house, and afro-house rhythms that fill Madrid nights with quality music.
Despite its exclusive appearance, Mística wants to remain accessible to everyone. The club is open three days a week: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 11.30 pm to 5.30 am. The entrance fee is affordable and the atmosphere is eclectic, suitable for all generations. Everyone from the age of 25 is welcome to enjoy the festive evenings at Mística.
