Veranos De La Villa Summer Festival
Madrid´s iconic Veranos de la Villa Festival is back for July and August with a packed programme of performing arts for all ages and tastes.
The 39th annual festival runs from July 5th until August 27th.
Thanks to Veranos de la Villa, Madrid becomes one big stage with some 76 cultural performances and activities in 35 venues featuring over 700 national and international artists including those from the circus, theatre, dance, music, flamenco and zarzuelos.
Puente del Rey, Plaza Mayor square, the Conde Duque cultural centre and Matadero Madrid are all taking centre stage to host perfomances and cutural activities for the whole family – and whats more – many of them are free.
This year, inernational visiting artists come from eleven countries with a special collaboration from the Chinese Cultural Centre of Madrid to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
